7 year olds start on Wednesday at 4:30 pm but all other cast members are expected to be at every practice. Practices are from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and 7-9pm Tuesday thru Friday. Dress rehearsal is at 3pm on Saturday and the show goes on at 7pm. The show normally last just an hour so with the help of volunteers and cast members we have everything packed up and delivered to the Missoula Little Red Truck by 9pm.

Our two directors that come down to us from Missoula, Montana and bring all the sets and costumes. They also go out into area school districts and give acting workshops during the week.

Jon Baldwin of Memories Unlimited takes a Cast Picture and Video and Jonathan Craft has been our accompanist for the last three years and will be back again this year.

Cast Members are required to pay a registration fee of $25 and also give us a signed Photo Release form. This gives us all the info we need to contact parents in case of accident, etc.

We like to have a Pizza Party for the Cast Members. This takes place on Thursday between practices and all cast members are invited.

We are lucky to have about 25 to 30 volunteers who sit in the theatre while the kids practice, bring our directors supper, usher the night of the show, and help pack up the director’s truck.

It is really amazing how fast the kids learn their parts and so by Friday night they are getting a little bit bored so the directors have them do the play in different dialects like “British” “Ninjas” “Cowboys”. It really serves two purposes as it also relaxes the kids, the parts become second nature, and they loose being stage fright. Jonathan loves this night the best and he has so much fun playing the music to suit the different dialects.
